Want to park money for 2 years. What are the good options?

I would suggest below three options depending on your risk appetite.

  1. No risk: GILT funds – They invest only in government securities. You have Short Term and Medium and long
    term funds. Returns are upto 10%.
  2. Low risk: Short term debt funds. They invest in corporate bonds and other instruments. Return is up to 8-9%.
  3. Moderate Risk: Hybrid funds: They have equity exposure.

You can also consider FMP (Fixed Maturity Plan). But they are closed ended, meaning you can’t withdraw in between.
