Compound interest on equity mutual fund is calculated daily or monthly?
Neither. Actually there is nothing like compound interest MFs will pay. It is an approximation we do to compare return (technically ‘growth’) of mutual fund with other assets like fixed deposit.
While doing this approximation we assume ‘compounded annually’. But as I said, it is just way to simplify comprehension, rather than MF paying interest.
